2013 Philippine Elections, Manual or Automated Elections?

  Last Tuesday, we chastised the Commission on Elections (Comelec) for literally putting all its marbles with Smartmatic’s Precinct Count Optical Scan (PCOS) because it only produced one of the highest number of electoral protests all over the nation. Today as we pointed out clearly, we still don’t know whether the real vice president of this country is Vice President Jejomar Binay, the proclaimed winner or is it really DOTC Sec. Manuel “Mar” Roxas? If the PCOS machines were that great, these problems should never have come up. But it did and there are many other electoral protests that have yet to be resolved.
